Crafty Upcycling

"I'm so damn crafty, I sweat glitter."- www.rottencards.com
As a new mom to this little cutie pie, I've gone through countless cases of baby wipes!!! Every time the case empties, I immediately think, "Hmmm what can I do with this?" Sadly, they all end up in the recycle graveyard, mostly because mommy duty calls!

I've been on a search for the right bin/basket to organize all our hats, gloves and scarves in the mudroom entry way. The light bulb went off when I emptied the last box of wipes!  I knew I had to save at least one in some way, and what a better way to craft it up! It's National Craft Month for crafts sake! I found this great craft paper with the new trendy moroccan pattern in the dollar section at Target! (if you are a frequent Target shopper like me, you'll notice the wipes are from there too... I popped in to buy the baby essentials and like every Target shopper can never pass up the dollar section without "just looking" or leaving with a cart full of stuff you never intended on buying!) Recalling my bookmaking days from college, I carefully wrapped up the wipe box with the wrapping paper and... VIOLA!, there you have it, an inexpensive trendy looking bin! All from a recycled box and some dollar wrapping paper! Now that is what I call upcylcing!

No sooner did I finish my new crafty storage bin, I came across the image above from rottencards.com, the perfect thought to sum up my crafty DIY moment!
