We know what you're thinking because we think it every time we go into a mall. It's too early for you to be shaking your jingle bell at me. No, really Ms. Macy's Sales Associate manning the field of unnaturally colored Christmas trees, please don't shake those bells. Why don't you put on a mask and jump out at me, instead? That would be much more suitable for the current season.
Although we feel the holidays shouldn't even be whispered about until after Halloween (it's a grudging compromise), we're going to talk about the holidays here, today. We apologize. But we're doing it for a good reason. You see, we start selling our holiday invitations to our retailers in May, and there are so many early birds out there (Grandma, purchased her gifts in August) that we would hate to have you feel left out.

In the next blog we'll return you to the regularly scheduled season... Fall and Halloween! Macy's can have their Christmas trees for another few weeks, we'll be building mounds of leaves in the backyard, eating candy corn and planning our costumes.
