Cards in Real Life

Left: Bella Ink EF-149TY, Ink Blots and Dots Folded Thank You Note, and Right: BC Footwear, Winners Circle at Zappos

Every so often we post a feature called Cards in Real Life.  This happens when we find something out and about that reminds us of a design in the Bella Ink line of stationery and invitations.

This week we're posting a pair of shoes from BC Footwear that are a comfortable cross between a heel and a wedge.  I know in the last post we talked about boots being the go-to footwear of choice in the Bella Ink studio, but every so often a boot just doesn't work with what you're wearing.

I can personally attest to how comfortable these shoes are (the heel is only 2'' high) and that the unique shape (toe cleavage!) makes them a fun basic, not a granny shoe or a boring old work shoe.  They pair exceptionally well with patterned pants in the winter, so you can leave your open-toes for summer and your high heels for date night.

The best part of this shoe may be the black and white print on the insole.  We love when there's a secret and fun fabric in the lining of a coat, or the pocket of a jean.  Something you glimpse when putting the garment on that can bring a quick smile to your face.  The print on the inside of this shoe reminds us of EF-149TY, a folded note from Bella Ink's Spring and Summer 2013 line of stationery that is also available blank for personalization.

EF-149TY and other Spring/Summer 2013 designs may be purchased online at www.bellaink.com.
