Although we have a lot to be thankful for, we've been relatively good this year and thought we could still ask Santa for a fabulous surprise or two on Christmas morning

1. To remind of us of Venice we'd love Polpo: A Venetian Cookbook (Of Sorts) at Anthropologie.

2. Jewelry is always a good idea, especially if it sparkles and has a bit of edge, like this triple wrap beaded stretch bracelet by K-Amato.

3. A girl can never have enough sunglasses.  One for each purse and one in the car will ensure that we're never out and about getting a headache from squinting.  Ray-Bans come in classic shapes and fun colors at Shopbop.

4. Boots are no fail footwear at Bella Ink since they tend to be dressier than sneakers but not as limiting as heels.   These "Riskey" Steven booties by Steve Madden are a fabulous cross between cowboy and motorcycle boots.

5. Women like beauty products.  You've seen their bathrooms, right?  Make us feel like fashion editors with a gift subscription to Birchbox.  Each month we'll receive sample size beauty products (hair, make-up, skincare, fragrance...) to play with.  There's even a subscription for discerning men.

6. An almost surefire way to a girl's heart is to present her with a box of exotic chocolates and a bottle of champagne.  Vosges, based in Chicago, has a knack for combining spices with chocolate in delicious ways.

7. With Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram... we're always on our phones.  It's a real bummer when they can't keep up.  The solution is a an adorably designed back-up battery, like the Triple C Power Mate at Uncommon Goods.

These are just some of the things on our grown-up Christmas list.  What's on your list?
