Bella Ink Designs: Not Just for the Girls

Some say Bella Ink isn't manly enough, but we beg to differ.  Real men wear pink, and a touch of that hue here and there surely wouldn't make them do a double take.  Not convinced?  The Fall/Winter 2014 notes featured here are a good bet for a variety of men, be they sports fans, boating enthusiasts, or card sharks.  And, there's not a trace of pink or burst of blossom anywhere to be found.

Bella Ink Loves: Summers on the Water

In Chicago, it's not summer if it doesn't include a day (or more) on the lake.  Bella Ink's President and Creative Director, Melissa, loves to unwind by sailing as often as possible.  Her love of the water has inspired many a design here at Bella Ink, and since we can't think of summer, or summer parties like The Fourth of July, without thinking about boating, here's a collection of our favorite nautical designs.

It's the little things that amuse the littlest people in our lives.  A freight train rolling along the tracks, a smaller version bringing food to the table at their favorite restaurant (like 2Toots Train Whistle Grill), or the one on TV urging them to call out, "Choo, choo!"  Some kids collect creepy crawlies, like caterpillars and potato bugs, storing them in bug condos and feeding them lawn clippings.  At Bella Ink, we've transformed their favorite things into affordable fill-in party invitations and coordinating, flat thank you notes.

A Sneak Peek & Info About Bella Ink and The National Stationery Show

We're finally ready to launch our Fall/Winter 2014 line of stationery into the world!  (That's why we've been so quiet.  We've been very busy working.)  Above is one of our newest baby shower invitations, as well as coordinating note cards.  We hope to have all new products posted online by the end of this month.  Keep checking back.  We have lots to share.

Suite Saturday: Get Set for Your Event

Woodland weddings inspired this series of Spring/Summer 2014 invitations from Bella Ink Designs.  Each invitation is shown with corresponding notes and response/table cards that will set the tone for any rustic event, whether it's in a barn, by a lake or at the city's hip new eatery.

Bella Ink is embracing the rainbow hued bridal party trend by incorporating a variety of vibrant colors on each Spring/Summer 2014 invitation.  Pinks mix with hot oranges, and sunshiny yellows mesh with aquas and orchids.  Be sure to visit the Bella Ink website and check out WH-75, too.  This bridal shower invitation is a simple blue and white design featuring a bride and her bouquet, which is bursting with color.

In addition to wildflowers, take a cue from these invitations and incorporate feathers into bouquets, boutonnieres, and other floral arrangements for the big day.  And remember, wedding invitations should match the bride and groom's vision and personality, even if that means building a suite of stationery that's  a little less traditional.  It will make complete sense to those who know them well.

We're going to admit to something.  We've found ourselves humming carols while doing mindless activities.  The First Noel often comes to mind without any prompting.  This is clearly a sign to start incorporating holiday designs into our Suite Saturdays.  Ready or not, we're embracing the spirit of the season and preparing for all the family, friends, food and fun coming our way.  And, if any snow in our near future could be kept to evenings, weekends, and ski towns, it may be a perfect winter.

If you've picked purple as one of your event's colors, then you're in good company.  Purple has been a color used by royals since antiquity.  Bella Ink has several invitations in varying shades of this high-end hue to suit your event, be it in a garden or a ballroom.
